Peninsula Valdes

Explore Peninsula Valdés, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its rich wildlife and stunning landscape. Our journey begins early in the morning when we pick you up from your accommodation and head to the peninsula.

Our first stop is the control post, where we pay the park entrance fee. Next, we tour the Carlos Ameghino isthmus, where you can view both the Nuevo and San José gulfs. Here we encounter an Interpretation Center, where we make a brief stop to learn more about the area.

We continue our journey to Puerto Pirámides, the only population within this vast reserve. Here we embark on a whale-watching experience that lasts approximately an hour and a half (available from June 15 to December 15).

After whale watching, we head to Caleta Valdés, where we stop for a meal with an ideal view. Depending on the time of year you visit us, we continue to either the northern or southern part of the Peninsula.

Throughout our tour, you’ll have the opportunity to see a variety of land and marine animals, including guanacos, maras, rheas, grey foxes, sea lions, elephant seals, Magellanic penguins, and many bird species.

Note: The tour may vary depending on wind conditions.

Peninsula Valdés can be visited year-round, but the best time to see wildlife varies. For whale watching, the best time is from June to December.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing suitable for the weather, as well as sun protection, water, and snacks.

To book your excursion to Peninsula Valdés, you can contact us through our contact form, by email, or by phone. We’ll provide all the necessary information and answer any questions you may have.
